The Brazilian Santos is a man of experience. Arrived in 2010 in MMA, he started strong with 7 wins in a row! However, his arrival in the UFC has made him totally irregular, to believe that he is not really at the expected level. The man who specializes in Capoeira, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is currently in the American top Team. He still made some great performances in his career, such as against Jan Blachowicz in 2019. Most of his victories ended with a KNOCKOUT!

Thiago Santos has recently missed the opportunity to get back into the title race again. Unfortunately, the Brazilian fighter is too fickle in his career. His future at the top level is becoming more and more uncertain and the fighter is fully aware of this. He also wanted to apologize to his fans after his heavy defeat to Magomed Ankalaev. He intends to make up for it against another challenger.

The American Jamahal Hill arrived in Grand Rapids when he was only 12 years old. He first started with basketball but started MMA as a professional in 2017. His debut was really noticed, as he went on to win six (including one opposite Dequan Townsend!) before joining the UFC circuit on January 25, 2020. In the Black Lion Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team, he is a very technical fighter who knows how to use the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent to his advantage.

His UFC debut is pretty conclusive! He has indeed won five of his six fights, with three knockouts counted. His last two victories have even been very fast, only 2 minutes 55 against Johnny Walker, and 48 seconds against Jimmy Crute ! Clearly, he is here to win and climb even higher in the UFC Light Heavyweight rankings, to go for a title shot in a few months. On many points, he is obviously the favorite of this fight against Santos.

This fight between the two challengers to the UFC title is likely to be quite lively . On the one hand, Santos, who will want to make up for his last setbacks but who will show inconstancy and on the other Hill, who is comfortable in the UFC, despite a knockout loss to Paul Craig in June 2021.
