The glossary of sports betting

Odds, handicap bets or scorecast speak to you, but you don't know the exact definition? This is the difference between a winning bet and a losing bet, quite simply! The idea is not to become an expert or a full-time bettor, far from it. Single bet	The simple bet is an elementary bet. All you have to do is choose a sports match and make a prediction.
Combined bet	The combined bet corresponds to the fact of making several bets that you combine into a single ticket. It is an extremely interesting bet with spectacular winning chances in case of a correct prognosis.
Bet Heinz	The Heinz is a multiple sports bet based on 5 selections, i.e. 57 bets. If two are correct you win winnings.
Scorecast Bet	Bet on the team that will win the match and on the final score of the match.
Handicap betting	Bet on the result of a sports match by adding a points advantage for one of the candidates.
Half-time/full-time bet	Bet on the score at half-time or at the end of the match.
Bet on the total goals	Bet on the total number of goals at the end of a match.
Live sports betting	The most popular bets are live bets that allow you to bet on a sporting event as it unfolds.
Fantasy bet	Bet on one of the two teams in a match who will have scored the most goals at the end of a championship day.
Asian handicap betting	Betting on a draw by adding an advantage for one of the participants.
Sports betting on a relegated team	Bet on the team that will be relegated from the competition or in a lower division.
Sports bet on the 2nd and 3rd place	Determine who will finish in 2nd or 3rd place in a sporting event and you win your bet.
Winning bet	The winning bet amounts to betting on the winner of an event.
Canadian sports betting	The Canadian bet is complex since it is based on 5 selections, on 26 bets that will bring you winnings if you get at least 2 good results.
Bet on the first scorer	Bet on the player who will score the first goal of the match.
Correct score bet	You will have to predict the final score at the end of a match.

Rating

Rating	Definition
European rating	The European rating is the most widespread on online sports betting sites. It corresponds to an integer or decimal number (1.5, 3, ...). To calculate your profit on a bet = your bet * (odds -1).
English rating	The English rating is expressed in the form of a fraction (1/2, 3/5,...). To calculate your profit on your bet = your stake * the odds.
American rating	The American rating can appear in the form of a positive or negative number (-100, 200, ...). To calculate your profit on your bet on a positive odds = your bet * 100 / the odds. For a negative odds, you can calculate your profit = your bet * 100 / (the negative odds).
